FDA has raised warnings about the risk of these drugs and their role in causing heart attack and stroke.
Other drugs included in the warning are Celebrex, Aleve, Naprosyn, and Toredol.  These drugs have some serious side effects, and are estimated to cause at least 16,000 deaths a year and to send 100,000 people to emergency relief in the United States.

The FDA warns us that we never take more than the recommended amount of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). They also warn that no one should take two NSAIDs at the same time with the same active ingredients.
The FDA is now requesting manufacturers of the reciprocal NSAIDs to update their labels with more accurate information on heart attack and stroke risks. The most common problems with these drugs are digestive ulcers and associated bleeding.

Researches have also shown an increased risk of other conditions like atrial fibrillation, where the heart rapidly knocks and becomes weak. Also,kidney damage, and delayed healing of fractures and soft tissue injuries. Recent evidence, which led to these more powerful FDA warnings, shows that even taking drugs at recommended doses in a short time can have serious side effects.
